you’ll laugh, you’ll cry, it’ll change your life


I see a lot of sources claiming that 50% (or some percentage) of people pay no income tax. While it is possible that a lot of people do not pay anything from their paycheck, taxes are still being paid on their behalf. Employers pay all kinds of taxes for the “privilege” of employing others. Just because people might seem to not pay taxes from their paycheck doesn’t mean they aren’t having their wages reduced because an employer has to pay. And is that not essentially a tax?
